Basics

What Changed

Recent changes to how Yeja works, newest first.

Offer Refunds (November 1, 2026)

An admin refund of an offer sale does the following:

  • It refunds every paid installment and cancels the ones still to come.
  • The offer is marked Refunded in the Wallet, so nothing bills the buyer or asks them to pay again.
  • Each refunded payment takes back the seller's credit for that payment.
  • A partly paid offer can be refunded too.
  • Before, only the first payment was refunded and the seller kept all of it.

Atelier Visitors (November 1, 2026)

Visits from your profile to your Atelier are now counted:

  • When a signed-in member clicks View Atelier on your profile, it counts as a visit. Your own clicks don't count, and nothing is counted until your Atelier is published.
  • Atelier Visitors in your Atelier's Overview and in the Clout tab shows your visits, the number of people and the last 30 days.
  • Each visitor adds to your clout once a day.
  • Visitors see The Artist Can See You Visited under the button.
  • Before, only anonymous page loads of your Atelier were counted.

Auction Start Times And Payments (October 31, 2026)

Scheduled auctions and winning bids now work like this:

  • A scheduled auction opens for bidding at its start time, within a few minutes.
  • An auction closes within a few minutes of its end time.
  • If you win, a payment-due banner shows at the top of Auctions, and the listing shows Pay Now.
  • Your auction won and payment-due notifications open the listing. The payment-due one opens straight into payment.
  • Before, a scheduled auction stayed closed until its seller opened it by hand, and a winner had no screen to pay on.

Pricing (October 31, 2026)

Yeja's fees and prices now come from one place:

  • Yeja takes 20% of each transaction on Free and 12% on Pro. Pro costs $9 a month.
  • Fundraiser pledges, Support tips and monthly creator support carry no Yeja fee.
  • Auctions add a buyer's premium of 20%, whatever the seller's plan. An auction that was already open keeps the premium it started with.
  • The fee a sale settled at is saved with it, so a refund takes back exactly what was credited, even if pricing changes later.
  • The Plan page in your Account Hub and the Pricing page show the same numbers checkout charges.
  • Before, fees were read from several places that did not always agree.

Provenance Reports (October 31, 2026)

You can now get a Provenance Report from an artwork's Passport:

  • Choose Get a Provenance Report on the Passport. On Free, each report costs $19.
  • On Pro, reports are included, up to 5 a day and 60 a month. When they run out, the Passport shows when your next included report is available. It never charges you instead.
  • A report lists owner names where each owner allows Professionals to see them, the full public timeline, market history with the anonymous bid ladder, and a proof file you can check yourself.
  • Use Download Report (PDF) to save it.
  • Before, Provenance Reports were switched off.

Help Center (October 31, 2026)

Yeja now has a Help Center:

  • Help articles are at Help Center, in English, Spanish, French, Persian and Simplified Chinese.
  • Search the articles or filter them by topic.
  • Fees and prices in the articles come from Yeja's current pricing, so they match what you are charged.
  • Before, Yeja had no help articles.

Contact Support (October 31, 2026)

You can now send Yeja a request and follow it:

  • Signed in, open Help & Support and choose Contact Support to report a bug, request a feature, get help or share feedback.
  • My Tickets lists your requests. Open one to read replies, reply, and rate the answer once it is resolved.
  • Signed out, the Contact Us form sends a request, and Yeja emails you a link to follow it.
  • Before, Help & Support ended at a Still Stuck? card with no way to send a request, and the Contact Us form said its inbox was still being connected.

Themes 2.0 (October 28, 2026)

Theme building moved into one app:

  • Yeja Themes is no longer a separate app. Building a theme happens in Themes 2.0.
  • Create › Build Your Own Theme opens Themes 2.0 to start a theme from a preset.
  • Old Yeja Themes links open Themes 2.0.
  • Before, Yeja Themes and Themes 2.0 were two separate apps.

Atelier Share Link (October 27, 2026)

Sharing your Atelier now uses its real address:

  • When you share your Atelier, the link is its own address: your username address, or the default ID address.
  • Each network's copy still says where it was shared.
  • Before, the share sheet gave your Atelier a short coded link instead.

Collaborators And Share This (October 27, 2026)

Inviting collaborators and sharing an Atelier work like this:

  • In Invite A Collaborator, Collaborator Name searches Yeja by name, @username or full email.
  • If no one on Yeja matches, add their email and Yeja invites them to create an account.
  • Visitors can press Share This in your Atelier's footer to open the share sheet.
  • Sharing to LinkedIn opens the post composer with your link in it.
  • Before, collaborator invites did not search Yeja members, and the LinkedIn share did not carry the link.

Atelier Editor (October 27, 2026)

The Atelier editor now has its own bar with five views:

  • Overview, Page Components, Themes & Style, Agent and Search & Sharing.
  • Overview includes Go Live In 3 Steps.
  • Page Components lists your sections in the same order as your public page. A preview of your draft sits beside the list, at desktop, tablet or phone width.
  • Before, the editor's tools sat in a floating dock and expandable cards.

Layout Menu (October 27, 2026)

Grid settings moved next to the grids they change:

  • My Studio, Art Board, World Galleries, Promo Network, Art Supplies and Auctions have a Layout menu at the end of their bar.
  • It holds Grid Size. On My Studio and Art Board it also holds Image Fit: Fit Width or Fit Height.
  • Your choices apply across those apps.
  • Before, Grid Size was in the Account menu.

Waitlist And Password Emails (October 27, 2026)

Sign-in emails now reach you like this:

  • When your waitlist request is approved, Yeja creates your account and emails you a link to set your password.
  • Check Your Inbox has a Resend Email button you can use once a minute.
  • Forgot Password sends at most one email per address per minute.
  • Before, an approval sent no email, and password reset emails had stopped arriving.

Duplicate Finder (October 22, 2026)

Duplicate Finder in My Studio finds more copies:

  • It groups works as Same File, Looks the Same or Looks Similar (possibly cropped or rotated).
  • For each group, choose Move Others to Trash, Keep Both or Mark as Editions. Nothing is removed until you choose.
  • Sold, minted and in-auction works can't be removed from a group.
  • Videos are compared by their poster image, and older uploads are included.
  • Before, it missed older uploads and every video.

Suspended Works (October 22, 2026)

When Yeja suspends or removes a work:

  • It can't be bought, offered or put up for auction.
  • My Studio shows it as Suspended by Yeja or Removed by Yeja. A removed work can't be restored from My Studio.
  • Only Yeja can lift a suspension.
  • Before, an artist could clear a suspension, and a suspended work could still be put up for auction.

Provenance Passport (October 21, 2026)

Every artwork now has a Provenance Passport:

  • Its tabs are Overview, Ownership Chain, Market History, Timeline and Verification.
  • Open one at Verify by link or QR code, or drop in an image file to find its record. The file never leaves your device.
  • By default, an owner's name is shown only to people in the ownership chain. Others can choose Request an Introduction.
  • Your browser rechecks the history and its daily anchor on Base.
  • Before, a work's history showed only as a timeline, without the ownership chain, market history or owner privacy settings.

Share Sheet (October 21, 2026)

Every Share button on Yeja now opens the same share sheet:

  • It has Copy Link, buttons for each network, a QR Code and, where your device has one, More Options.
  • When you share your own work, each network gets its own link, reused every time, so a sale it brings shows in Social Analytics.
  • A signed-in visitor's link carries their referral code. A signed-out visitor gets the plain public link.
  • Before, different parts of Yeja had their own share menus, and sales from shared links did not show in Social Analytics.

Messages Layout (October 21, 2026)

Messages now look like this:

  • Consolidated View is the default: a full-width list that opens one conversation at a time. Expanded View is still available.
  • A browser that saved Expanded View keeps it.
  • Senders with a Yeja account show their profile picture instead of initials. Sent shows the recipient's picture.
  • Before, Messages showed only a strip of cards, with initials for every sender.

Auction Notifications (October 20, 2026)

Auction winners are notified again:

  • When an auction ends with a winner, the winner gets a notification that they won and that payment is due.
  • Before, these notifications had not been delivered since early August.

Follow And Message Me (October 20, 2026)

Profiles now have Follow and Message Me:

  • On another member's profile, both buttons sit next to View Atelier, with their follower count.
  • The person you follow gets a notification asking whether to follow you back, and their button reads Follow Back. Each pair gets at most one such notice a week.
  • Followers add to clout, and following back adds more for both people.
  • Message Me opens a new message to that person.
  • Neither button shows on your own profile.
  • Before, profiles had no way to follow someone.

CRM Unlock (October 20, 2026)

The Artist CRM unlocks in a new way:

  • It unlocks once you finish Get Paid in Two Steps in the Wallet: verify your identity and add a payout bank.
  • The locked CRM shows Activate Your Wallet, which opens the Wallet.
  • Before, the CRM unlocked only after you sold to three different collectors.

Email Unsubscribe (October 20, 2026)

Every email Yeja sends now does the following:

  • It says it was sent from the Yeja platform and carries an unsubscribe link.
  • Unsubscribing stops non-essential email to that address. Receipts and payment and payout alerts still arrive.
  • In the CRM, a contact who unsubscribed shows Unsubscribed, and outreach emails skip them.
  • Before, not every email carried an unsubscribe link.

Offer Payments And Installments (October 19, 2026)

Paying an offer now works like this:

  • You can open the Wallet and pay offers without setting up payouts.
  • When you accept an offer, you pay its first payment, or the full amount, right away. The offer counts as accepted once that payment goes through.
  • Later installments are charged to your saved card on their due dates.
  • If an installment can't be charged, Yeja emails you a link to pay it from your Wallet. After three failed attempts, the installment is marked failed and the seller is told.
  • Before, accepting an offer did not take the payment, and a declined installment was retried every day without telling anyone.

Refunds And Disputes (October 16, 2026)

Refunds and card disputes now work like this:

  • A refund on an order from a cart returns only that order's price and its share of shipping.
  • If a buyer disputes a payment with their bank, that amount is held from the seller's balance until the dispute is decided,.
  • Before, a refund returned the whole checkout, including other sellers' pieces, and a disputed amount stayed available to withdraw.

Common Questions

What happens to my installments if my offer is refunded?

Every installment you already paid is refunded, and the ones still to come are canceled. The offer shows as Refunded in your Wallet, and nothing bills you or asks you to pay again.

What happens to the seller's balance when an offer is refunded?

Each refunded payment takes back the seller's credit for that payment, at the fee the sale settled at.

What happens if an installment payment fails?

Yeja emails you a link to pay it from your Wallet. After three failed attempts, the installment is marked failed and the seller is told.

Does a pricing change affect a sale I already made?

No. The fee a sale settled at is saved with it, and an installment plan keeps the fee from its first payment. A refund takes back exactly what was credited.

I won an auction. How do I pay?

Open the payment-due notification, or the banner at the top of Auctions, and choose Pay Now. See Auctions.
